Here is a video of Bria crawling!!! It's not the video of her first time crawling just because I am unable to learn how to get the video from our video camera to the computer (Clint will have to help me!)

She's an expert crawler now and is into everything and I mean everything!

1st Day

Today is the first day of school. So, I thought this was appropriate:

Bria is 7 months!  

Time is getting away from us. Bria is no longer content on just sitting still. We have had some issues with her wanting to just go, go, go! I guess in the end that's what you want, right?

Here is our baby:

Bria loves:

splashing in the bathtub, reading "That's Not My Bunny!", crawling towards the dogs kong ball, playing with paper, going to sleep in her swing, walking while holding her hand

Bria doesn't love:

when she can't reach something she wants to chew on, when Sierra licks her face, when Mommy leaves the room

Bria's stats:

weight: 14 lbs          height: 26 inches

Some of Bria's firsts:

6 months 2 days: first time sitting up with no help for a long time

6 months 3 days: first time having sweet potatoes & spinach smoothie

6 months 7 days: sat in a cooking pot for the first time

6 months 8 days: held a fishing pole for the first time (with the help of mom of course)

6 months 11 days: went on hands and knees and started rocking for the first time

6 months 21 days: first time putting feet in the ocean

6 months 26 days: firs time having avacado and sitting at the table drinking her bottle by herself

I can't believe I am actually typing these words....

Bria is officially 6 Months Old. 

I have mixed feelings about this people. My baby is no longer going to be an infant. My baby is growing up.

Fast.

Bria loves:

real food. not baby food. real food, camping, sticking out her tongue and blowing, going on the boat, playing cards, Nana singing Fuzzy Caterpillar, biting the nipple on her pacifier and "popping" it out of her mouth, sitting up all by herself, "walking" around

Bria doesn't love:

When she has to wait for food, when you take cards away from her, when she doesn't nap during the day and she's overly tired, not being able to get a toy within her reach

Some of Bria's firsts:

5 months 5 days: Bria's first time sleeping on a boat & first ferry ride

5 months 11 days: first time at Nana and Chanaa's cabin

5 months 19 days: first time meeting Great-Papa, Vicki, Aunt Shelly & Uncle Dan

5 months 22 days: first time at a mall

5 months 23 days: first time sitting while being propped up

5 months 24 days: first time in pool

5 months 24 days: first time having strawberry smoothie (thanks Nana!)

5 months 27 days: first time meeting Awma and Papa & first time having cantelope

 5 months 29 days: first time eating banana's

I'm Back....

Instead of going back through my pictures for the summer and spend a lot of time trying to remember enough details to make several posts, I'm just going to kick off where we are now. Just know that this past summer was amazing, the first summer with Bria. The first summer as a family. Here is just a couple things we did:

*Helped my parents build a cabin
*Harvested Beach Asparagus and made pickled asparagus as well (post to come soon)
*Went to California to visit my Papa and introduce Bria to her great-grandpa
*Went fishing
*Went hiking
*Spent 5 amazing weeks with my inlaws
*Spent some quality time with my amazing and favorite sisters
*Went to Karate class that Clint put on for the church
*Went to a self defense class
*Harvested Bull Whip Kelp and made salsa, relish, and pickles! (post to come soon)
*Bria had an abundant of firsts. which will be stated in her monthly post (which, I am behind with month 6 and 7! Please be patient)...

Last night however, was another first for Bria. We finally received her walker in the mail and we immediately put her in there. She loves it. We also allowed her to eat peas by herself! To say it was intertaining would be an understatement. She was hilarious, and loved every minute of it!
