Well, we finally had our first basketball games of the season. The Savoonga boys basketball team traveled to Gambell, while the Gambell girls made it to Savoonga. Both games went spectacular. Our boys beat Savoonga, and our girls lost by one little point 25-26. They did so well, and I'm so proud of them. This is the first time that I have coached by myself and it has been such an experience for me. The girls have been so good, and it has made my life more enjoyable. We play again tomorrow and then we fly home on Sunday, what a busy weekend!
